With the Sundance Film Festival already under way there are a few movies to keep an eye out for. One of the breakthrough actors of last year was Joseph Gordon-Levitt with some outstanding performances and hes turned his hand to screenwriting and directing with his debut Don Jons Addiction premiering at Sundance this year. The film follows Jon Martello as he attempts to deal with his porn addictions while doing so he meets two very different woman each of which teach his some valuable lessons about life. I have always been a big fan of JGL ever since 3rd Rock From the Sun, and it’ll be interesting to see how this film turns out. If he can write and direct anything like he acts we can expect big things.
An English movie that looks to change one man’s career is the Look Of Love, the story of Paul Raymond played by the excellent Steve Coogan. This film boast a stellar class of British actors from Steven Fry to Imogen Poots and its a bit of something different from Coogan with a remarkable dramatic performance, something that is miles away from Alan Partridge.
Anyway it seems there are a few movies that are not to be missed coming out at Sundance from the new Steve Jobs story jOBS to The Way, Way Back the new comedy starring Steve Carell and Sam Rockwell theres lots to look forward to!
